Laois manager Peter Creedon is set to welcome back a number of players ahead of their Leinster SFC clash against Longford at O'Moore Park on Sunday.

Following a poor league campaign that was blighted with injuries, Laois look set to name a strong side for the visit of the Midlanders.

In recent weeks, Brendan Quigley has played a full part in training and challenge matches, having missed most of the NFL campaign through injury.

Donie Kingston is set to overcome an ankle injury sustained while on club duty, and John O'Loughlin lined out for St Brigid's in the Dublin SFC last weekend, having overcome a groin injury.

Mark Timmons is also in contention for a return to the fold after double hip surgery last year ruled him out of the entire league campaign.

Last week, Laois defeated Limerick in a challenge match, while they have also defeated Clare and Carlow in recent weeks.
