Our senior team were in action on Saturday evening last away to Dromard and following an entertaining game we emerged with a 1 point win on a score line of 1-11 to 1-10. This leaves us  with a healthy  6 points from our opening 3 games. We played Fr. Manning Gaels in round 4 of the league on Tuesday evening. Please see social media for result. 

Our junior game on Sunday against Fr. Manning Gaels was postponed and will be played in the coming weeks.

This coming weekend we are away to Abbeylara on Saturday evening in the Bertie Allen cup with throw in at 7pm. On Bank Holiday Monday our junior team are away to Ballymahon in the next round of the league. Good luck to both.

Well done to the Longford minor team on their fine Leinster Championship in over Wicklow on Saturday.

Our lotto draw for a jackpot of €7,100 took place on Sunday night in The Olde Forge. The numbers drawn were 23,26,29 and 35. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Denis McGoldrick, Peter Rooney, Cloncoose, Patsy Duke, 10 Annaly Park, Paddy Lee, Esker and Bernard O Reilly, Knockloughlin with Frank Toher taking the sellers prize. Thanks again to all who support our lotto. Next weeks draw for a jackpot of €7,200 will take place in Begleys on Sunday night.
