Scór Leinster Final:
Best wishes to our club representatives in next week's Leinster Scór final which is in Ballymore on Sunday 2nd April at 3pm.
We are looking to win two Leinster titles with Thomas Pettit in the Recitation and the Leiriu team of Ciaran Reynolds, Hugo Slevin, Ann Meares, Caitriona Mc Cormack, Johnny Hannify, Thomas Pettit, Deborah Reynolds and Deirdre Robbins looking to regain a title they last held in 2014. They are all good enough to win so all we can do is wish them well and hopefully one or both acts will be heading to Belfast for the finals in Early May.

St Joseph's Ladies:
Sunday last 26th March St Joseph's Ladies lined out for their first competitive away fixture of 2017 in a league match against Goldsmiths in Tubberclair. This Mother's Day clash was played in great weather conditions with the sun shining brightly and only a slight breeze blowing towards the clubhouse end. The game began at a frantic pace and St Joseph's Ladies looked determined from the start to continue where they left off after their emphatic win against Miltownpass two weeks earlier. Orla Robins had 2 points to her name within the first minute but Goldsmiths responded well and leveled the game in the 4th and 5th minute with 2 well taken frees. St Joseph's Ladies composed themselves and after a skirmish at the face of Goldsmiths goal mouth, Roisin Kealy took control and finished into the net for our first goal of the day. St Joseph's Ladies kicked on from here and never let Goldsmiths back into the game. The ladies had some great scores with an amazing end-line point from Roisin Kealy worth noting. The first half finished 2-12 to 0-03 after a further goal from Ellie Conway who had a super game from midfield, as did her midfield partner Sinead Robins. St Joseph's Ladies had the breeze and the hill in the second half and pushed on with some well taken scores, with goals from Corina Corcoran, Roisin Kealy and a super goal from the ever-determined Lauren McDonnell adding to the tally. Defensively we were strong and controlled the game with dominant performances from all, sometimes the unsung heroes. Every single member of the team and the subs played well and the team spirit and determination showed, was heartening. No doubt we will have sterner tests ahead but a great win and continued good start to the season. The game finished 5-25 to 0-03 to St Joseph's Ladies. Well done ladies! Our next game is next Sunday at home v St. Mary's and as always all support welcomed. Scorers, Roisin Kealy 2-06, Ellie Conway 1-04, Orla Robbins 0-06, Sinead Robbins 0-04, Corina Corcoran 1-00, Lauren Mc Donnell 1-00, Karen Keegan 0-03 (2f), Lisa McCormack 0-01. Team - Deidre Ann Nally, Lauren McCormack, Clodagh McCormack, Carmel Carroll, Edwina Scally, Emma Reid (C), Roisin Killian, Sinead Robbins, Ellie Conway, Roisin Kealy, Karen Keegan, Erin Pettit, Lisa McCormack, Orla Robbins, Carina Corcoran. Subs used, Caoimhe Kelly, Lauren McDonnell
St Joseph's Senior Men:
St Joseph's lost out to Killucan on Sunday last in the third round of the league by 2-12 to 1-8 in a very competitive game in Killucan. We were a bit unfortunate not to have gotten something from this game as the lads were in the hunt right up until the finish and it was only a late goal for Killucan which decided the result. Some very positive areas from the game with six different players getting on the score sheet and with a bit more consistency we can do very well this year.
Team: Andrew Meares, Jerry Gleeson, Stephen Sheil, Brian Killian, Tommy Moran, Padraic Seery, Aaron Mc Donnell, Damien Mc Cormack, Alan Farrell, Eoin Kelly, Cathal Johnson, Kevin Flaherty, Daire Lynam, Andrew Mc Cormack, Niall Moran.
