Sympathy: Dromard GAA extends its sympathy to the family of Fr Edmund Donohoe, formerly of Gortermone, who died in the United States recently. The Club offers its condolences to Mrs Ita Reilly, Drumhaldry, Moyne on the death of her sister Mrs Teresa Gaffney (nee Donohoe), Middlesex, England and formerly Killydoon, Co Cavan.

Dromard GAA Monthly Special Draw: To date there has been a tremendous response to our new Monthly Members Draw which will take place on the first Monday of each month starting on Monday 7thof November 2016. A guaranteed €800 will be given away in each monthly draw, 1st Prize of €500 and 3x€100 prizes. If you have not already signed up, there is still time. U21 Championship: The Dromard/Fr Manning Gaels amalgamation was defeated by an impressive Colmcille side on Sunday last in Fr McGee Park. Well done to the following Dromard players who togged out on Sunday: Oisin Hourican, Brian Kiernan, Martin McStay, Niall McManus, Barry Smith, Dylan McCormack and Patrick Mimnagh. Dromard/Fr Manning Gaels are due to play Clonguish in Allen Park on Sunday next (30th) at 12:00 noon.

Club Championship: Best of luck to Mullinalaghta St Columba's in the first round of the Leinster senior championship against Stradbally on Sunday (October 30th) in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park. Throw in is at 2pm.

Lotto results: The lotto results for 17/10/2016. The numbers drawn were: 13, 15, 24, 29. There was no jackpot winner. The €20 draw winners were: Mary Ellen Gray, Padraig Brady, Teresa Reilly and Eanna Mimnagh. The sellers' prize was won by Geraldine Bleakley. Next week's jackpot is €2,400.
