Senior League Division 1, Dromard 1-12 St Columbas 0-8: Dromard took on St Columbas on Wednesday evening last in round 3 of the senior league in Páirc na nGael. Thanks to a much improved performance from the first two games, Dromard came away a much-needed win and two valuable league points. Dromard lined out as follows: Gavin McNerney, David Pettit, Niall Vance, Paul McGee, Kevin Donohoe, Peter Masterson, Pauric Martin, Diarmuid Masterson, Bryan McCormack, Bernard Sheridan, Cian Mimnagh, Ross McNerney, Emmet Masterson, James Martin, Francis McGee. Subs: Declan Mimnagh, James Mimnagh.

Senior League Division 1: Dromard take on Granard at Higginstown on Tuesday (19 April) at 7.30pm. All support would be greatly appreciated.

Senior League Division 1: Our Division 3 panel are in action this coming weekend when they face Colmcille in in Páirc na nGael on Sunday (24th April) at 1.00pm. All eligible players are asked to attend.

Strictly Come Dancing Fundraisers: Dromard GAA's major fundraiser of 2016 "Strictly Come Dancing" takes place on Friday 29th April in the Slieve Russell Hotel (start time: 8pm). Tickets are on sale widely from any member of the club executive and all local shops. In order to raise sponsorship, a number of our dancers are holding fundraisers over the next fortnight. We ask that everyone in the parish make a special effort to attend as many of these events as possible and support our volunteer dancers as they aim to raise much needed funds for the Club. You can also donate online to any of the dancer's taking part in the event. Please see the Club Newsletter or Facebook page for further details.

Table Quiz: A table quiz in aid of the Pete Faughnan "Dromard Strictly Come Dancing" fund will take place in Aughavas Community Centre on Friday 22nd April at 8.30pm sharp. There will be kids' tables available and lots of spot prizes to be won on the night. Your support would be much appreciated.

Donate €10 to Rosario Rabbitt's Online Strictly Campaign: Rosario Rabbitt has set up an online fundraising campaign where she has set herself the very challenging target of raising €2,000. Rosario is hoping that people will go to the website gofundme.com/42y569sk and use their credit or debit card to donate the reasonable sum of €10 to help her reach that target, please support her in this endeavour.

Croke Park 1916 Commemoration: The GAA is planning a special event to mark the centenary of the 1916 Rising. Following the Division One and Two Allianz Football League Finals at Croke Park on Sunday April 24, the GAA will present a show that will commemorate the Rising, the Proclamation, the story of Gaelic Games and the GAA's role since 1916. The show will incorporate large-scale innovative theatre, dance, song, poetry and pageantry.  Tickets for the league finals and this special commemoration are available on the GAA website. Group passes can also be purchased.

Lotto results: The lotto results for 11/04/2016. The numbers drawn were: 1, 4, 6, 27. There was no jackpot winner. The €20 draw winners were: K Keegan, John Duffy, Pat Mulligan, Mike Joe Sheridan. The sellers' prize was won by Gerry Mimnagh. Next week's jackpot now stands at €11,200.
