Here's a round-up of all of today's Leinster MFC action, including a 71 point victory for Wexford!

The Model County came away from Nowlan Park with a 17-20 to 0-0 win under the belt and it's an outcome which must surely raise questions about Kilkenny's participation in the competition.

And the misery doesn't end there for the young Cats as they must face the winners of Carlow v Laois in the qualifier series.

Elsewhere, Meath overturned a three point half-time deficit to register an 0-11 to 1-6 victory over Laois in Portlaoise.

A James Kelly goal boosted the home side into a 1-3 to 0-3 interval lead but the Royals produced a strong second-half showing to take the spoils.

Two late Jason Scully frees helped the team in green and gold edge their nose in front in the home straight.

Ciaran Kelly helped himself to two goals as Kildare overcame hosts Wicklow on a scoreline of 2-16 to 0-7 in Aughrim.

The Lilywhites led by 0-8 to 0-4 at the interval and pulled away after the resumption.

Meanwhile, Sam Mulroy's first-half goal put Louth on the front foot against Carlow in Netwatch Cullen Park.

As a result, the Wee County went in at the break with a 1-8 to 0-2 lead but the Barrowsiders put on a better show in the second-half and it finished Louth 1-14, Carlow 1-8.

Earlier in the day, Dublin scored a comprehensive 2-14 to 1-7 over Offaly in Parnell Park while Westmeath enjoyed a 3-9 to 0-12 local derby win over Longford.

Dylan Carroll, James Maxwell and Daniel Reid raised green flags for the winners.

The team in maroon and white led by 2-2 to 0-5 at the midway stage and Reid's second-half goal gave them a little bit of breathing space.

All today's winners advance to the last eight of the competition while the defeated teams will have another opportunity to progress through the 'back door'.
