SOSAD (Save Our Sons and Daughters) talk: Dromard GAA has invited a Guest Speaker from SOSAD Ireland to give a talk in our clubhouse on Tuesday the 8th of December at 8:30pm sharp. SOSAD Ireland provide a range of supports to anyone who may be affected or concerned about suicide. This includes suicide interventions, psychological assessments and free counselling to anyone who needs it. We would strongly encourage people to attend, with the talk open to anyone wishing to come and it is completely free of charge. Tea and Coffee will be available on the night.
International Rules: The Minor club brought students from 4th to 6th class on a great trip to see the International Aussie Rules game in Croke Park on Saturday night last, all had a great experience. A big thank you to those who organised and assisted with this trip. Congratulations to Longford and Killoe player Michael Quinn who played his part in Ireland's win over Australia.

Leinster Club Championship:  Congratulations to St. Brigid's Killashee who overcame Milltown in the Leinster Junior Club semi-final and have now historically reached a Leinster Junior Club final. Well done to all and best of luck in the final. Commiserations to Killoe who were defeated by Portlaoise in the Leinster Senior Club semi-final.

Club Meeting: The next club meeting will be held this Monday night the 30th November at 9pm. There are currently a lot of things going on in the club, and it is the time of year when a lot of planning is done for next year, so it would be good to see a great turn out. All welcome.

AGM: The AGM is provisionally set for either Sunday the 6th or Sunday the 13th of December at 3pm in the Clubhouse, the final date will be communicated via text and next week's club notes.  Nominations will be distributed this week via the local shops, will also be sent out via email, and are also available from the secretary, [email protected].  The club is very welcoming towards new volunteers. There are many reasons why you might want to become involved; to do something that you love doing, to keep busy, to make new friends, because your children are involved, to give something back to the Association, to be involved in a successful club, or because there is a tradition of involvement in your family, we would be very interested in hearing from new members and volunteers. For those not interested in the commitment of one of the key posts, there are many smaller roles and /or committees which don't consume much time. We would encourage all to become involved in some small way, please contact the secretary Dermot, Chairman Anthony, vice-chairman Michael or Treasurer Frank, thank you.
