Lotto:  There was no jackpot winner this week. The numbers drawn were: 4, 10, 12, 24. €20 euro draw prizes went to G M McDonnell, Peggy Kiernan, Brendan Masterson and Peter O'Reilly (New York). The Sellers prize was won by Gerry Mimnagh. Next week's jackpot now stands at €6,800.

Annual Lotto: Our annual lotto drive is now well under way and over the coming weeks all members will be asked to renew their annual membership and to subscribe to our annual lotto. This contribution by all of you is vital to meeting the operating costs of the club. Over the course of the year these costs total in excess of 50k. A number of different lotto and club membership packages are available to purchase. Full details can be found on the club website or from the contacts below. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by all from 5 to 55 years of age who benefit from the range of activities and teams within the club.  For those living away from home or who wish to purchase using a credit or debit card, please go to the club website: www.dromard.longford.gaa.ie . Division 3: League action resumes for the Division 3 squad this coming weekend with a home game against Fr. Manning Gaels on Sunday (21st) at 2pm.

U12 Competitions: Our round 3 game sees St Francis travel to Legan to take on Carrick Sarsfields on Tuesday the 16th at 7:30pm. On Thursday the 18th we have the bye round in the group and on Thursday the 25th we play our final group game at home to Aughavas, also at 7:30pm, before the knockout rounds take place.

All Ireland Qualifiers: Best of luck to Diarmuid Masterson, Ronan McEntire, Francis McGee and Ross McNerney and the Longford senior footballers in the first round of the qualifiers versus Carlow on Saturday evening (7pm) in Pearse Park.

5k Walk: Longford GAA in Conjunction with its Health and Well Being Committee will host a 5k walk on July 4th in Aid of the Samaritans. The walk will commence from Pearse Park @ 8am and will follow the Bypass and Mall route finishing in Pearse Park, there will be a light breakfast served afterwards. The walk is not a race!!! It is a Social event to help people meet and have a walk and chat. Registration fee is €10 and all proceeds will be donated to The Samaritans who are working closely with the GAA on a National Level. The aim of the walk is to promote Health and Wellness among our GAA family and wider Community. All children participating must be accompanied by an adult.  Please support.
