Reserve League 1: Dromard took on Killoe in Emmet Park on Friday evening last (22nd) in the final fixture in this competition. Despite a number of regular starters being unavailable on the evening, the Dromard team on duty put in a hardworking and spirited display throughout this very entertaining contest. A strong Killoe team emerged the victors on this occasion but well done to the Dromard players who battled strongly throughout. Some good support play and passing saw Dromard create plenty of chances during the game and the team scored three goals over the hour with Niall Vance, Noel Reynolds and Alan McLoughlin all finding the net. The team lined out as follows: Sean McNerney, Enda Kiernan, James Mimnagh, Conor Duffy, John Sheridan, Niall Vance, Michael Reilly, Peter McEntire, Noel Reynolds, Alan McLoughlin, Enda Macken, Niall McManus, Peter Reynolds, Gavin McNerney, Jimmy Kiernan. Subs: Michael Reynolds, James Conefrey, Brendan McLoughlin, Donal Conefrey.

U13 All County, Thursday, 28th May: Last Thursday the 21st seen our U13's combined with St. Colmcille's continue as North Longford in Round 2 of the competition. In our first game we played Mid Longford and had a really good win which teed us up against Western Gaels where the winners would progress to the Cup semi-final and the losers would go to the Shield semi-final. In a cracking game we just came up short but our performances to date has seen us installed as the number 1 seed in the Shield so if we can win our first game this Thursday next we progress to the final but if we lose we get one more opportunity to make the final. This is a good competition as it allows our players to play 15 a side football at a higher level. Next fixture is Thursday, 28th May in Michael Fay Park at 7:50pm when we play the winners of ( Mid Longford V South Longford ) in the semi-final. ( Note that should we lose this game will play again the following Wednesday night).
