Sympathy: The club would like to extend its sympathy to the Brady family, Creenagh, Longford on the death of Elizabeth Brady during the week.

Division 1 League: Dromard 1-11 Mullinaughta 1-06. Dromard picked up their first league points in Division 1 with a win over Mullinaughta on Saturday last at the Laurels. The Dromard goal was scored by Declan Mimnagh. Team: Gavin McNerney, Paul McGee, Peter Masterson, Conor Duffy, Enda Kiernan, John Sheridan, Niall Vance, Diarmuid Masterson, Bernard Sheridan, Pauric Martin, Emmet Masterson, Peter Reynolds, Ross McNerney, Declan Mimnagh, Francis McGee. A speedy recovery to Conor Duffy who picked up an injury during the game.

Division 3 League: Dromard 2-5 St Patrick's (Ardagh) 4-7: Dromard faced Ardagh at Pairc na Gael on Sunday last in the second game of their Division 3 campaign. After conceding an early goal, Dromard gradually worked their way into the game with Sean McNerney scoring a goal from a penalty after a foul on Peter Mimnagh. Dromard were five points down at the break but narrowed the gap in the second half with a good spell of possession. However, two further goals by Ardagh in the closing stages restored their advantage. Noel Reynolds scored a second Dromard goal late in the game following a good move. County Minors: Best of luck to the Longford minor team who play Wicklow in the first round of the Leinster championship on Saturday at 15:00 in Aughrim.

Senior Club Meeting: The next senior club meeting is on Monday the 20th of April at 20:45. This meeting is solely to focus on our Annul Lotto drive. It's very important that all reps who will be going around each townland attend in order to plan the rollout of the annual lotto, get documentation kits, list, etc.

Annual Lotto: Over the coming weeks all members will be asked to renew their annual membership. This contribution by all of you is vital to meeting the operating costs of the club. Over the course of the year these costs total in excess of 50k. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by all from 5 to 55 years of age who benefit from the activities and teams within the club.

 Longford GAA Annual Punchestown Race Day: The Longford GAA 13th Annual Punchestown Race Day will take place Wednesday April 29th. This has proved to be a very popular annual event. Tickets are priced at €110 and include a four course meal, hot afternoon refreshments, admission, race card, celebrity, tipster, bookies in pavilion, bar facilities and music by Busy Fingers. Anyone interested in attending please contact a member of the club executive.
 
Club Health & Wellbeing Officer: Mary Farrell has been appointed as The Club Health & Wellbeing Officer for 2015. Mary will be liaising with the County Health & Wellbeing Sub-Committee to ensure that the club is availing of the supports, programmes, partnerships, training, and resources available to them. A big thank you to Mary for taking on this role.
 
Missing Jerseys: There are a number of jerseys missing from the various sets, which is causing problems on match days. Could players who inadvertently put them in the bags after games please give them to either their team manager or to Danny O'Toole 087 1338183 as soon as possible.

Leinster Senior Championship, Longford v. Offaly: The Leinster Council is offering group passes for both adults and juveniles for the forthcoming championship match on 16th May at O'Connor Park Tullamore. The U16 tickets cost €3 each (stand) and €2 terrace while the price for adults is €15 (stand) and €5 terrace. The minimum order for the adult tickets is 15. Application forms must be submitted through the club secretary before 12th May.

U13 All County Competition: Dates for the first round of fixtures have been sent to all clubs. St. Francis are joining with St. Colmcilles to form one of the 11 teams taking part. The competition will commence on May 14th and run for four Thursdays in succession.

Development Squads: Details of all squad sessions going forward will appear on the Longford GAA website www.longfordgaa.ie under Coaching.

Schools: The Post Primary Pella program will see Moyne CS take part in both the 1st year girls finals on the 23rd of April and the 1st year boys finals on the 30th of April as always in Edgeworthstown Community Campus.

Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camp Dates: The Cúl Camp website is now live and can be viewed at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. The Dromard camp runs from July 6th - 10th.
