Concussion is a very serious issue within all contact sports and we in the GAA are being proactive in providing information and knowledge to all our members as to how concussions can occur, what are the dangers of getting concussed, how to manage those who get concussed and to highlight who needs to take responsibility for the care of someone who is or is suspected of being concussed. This workshop should be attended by a large number of people from the Club from Adult level to Child level. Some examples of the type of people who need to be aware of this information are as follows; team trainers/managers, players, club officials, parents, match officials, club medical personnel, regular match goers, etc.
