FL4: Longford maintain promotion push

February 28, 2015

Longford's Francis McGee. INPHO

Longford 1-18
London 0-6

London were no match for Longford in today's FL Division 4 encounter at Ruislip as Jack Sheedy's men made it five points from a possible six.

Despite having to play without the services of injured hamstring duo Michael Quinn and Brian Kavanagh, Sheedy watched his side finish with 15 points to spare over the Exiles.

They would have been happy at half-time when leading by 0-8 to 0-2 and Paul McKeon's goal on the 45th minute hammered the final nail into London's coffin.

Eleven players made the scoresheet for the winners with McKeon finishing with 1-3 to his name while Francis McGee found the target with four points.

Alan O'Hara hit three points for London but it was a day to forget for Paul Coggins and his team.
