Hurlers face students

January 23, 2015

Longford hurlers continue their Kehoe Cup campaign this weekend as they face St Pat's/Mater Dei in round two.

The Midlanders made a positive start to the campaign under new manager Ray Gavin as they defeated Louth by 2-14 to 2-07 at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park last Sunday.

There were plenty of positives for the Ex-Westmeath hurler to take from the game against the Wee County and they will face a sterner test against the Students on Sunday.

The following week, Longford travel to Trim where they will play Meath in the final group game with the winners of the group advancing to the final.
