A great night was had by all at the 2014 Longford GAA All Star awards.

The Team of the Year and the Players of the Year were feted at a gala function in Abbeyshrule on Saturday night, with more than 220 patrons in attendance to honour the best footballers and hurlers in the county.

Killoe's full back Darragh Bennett was named as Senior Footballer of the Year and county champions Emmet Og had eight players on the Team of the Year.

Ladies Footballer of the Year Anne Marie Bratten is also from Killoe, while Wolfe Tones Mostrim's Martin Coyle picked up the Hurler of the Year accolade.

John Fay from Abbeylara was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
