More silverware for Killoe

December 04, 2014

Killoe Emmet Og have added the county U21 FC trophy to their haul for the year.

The outstanding club in the county during the 2014 season, Killoe took the spoils by virtue of a comfortable 1-12 to 1-5 defeat of Colmcille in the decider at Pearse Park last Saturday.

Most of this U21 side were also involved in the sall-conquering senior team in '14, with manager Tommy McCormack managing the U21, SFC and Leader Cup winning combos.

Seamus McCormack top-scored in the U21 final, with 0-5, while full back Cian Farrelly collected the Man of the Match award.

The match was done and dusted at the interval, with Killoe leading by 1-7 to 0-3, full forward Liam Hughes bagging the all-important goal.
