Colmcille GFC Notes

December 01, 2014

Hard luck to our U21 team who lost out in the final of the A Championship on Saturday last, defeated by a strong Emmet Og team 1-12 to 1-5. The lads have had a very busy few weeks of it with the format of the championship meaning they played eight games in the past month or so. They showed huge commitment in travelling back for training and games and were a credit to the club in their efforts. Well done lads and congratulations to Emmet Og on a good victory. Team: Colm Kilbride, Aaron Jones, Enda Macken, Shane Gray, Gerard Mulligan, Martin Mulligan, James Gorman, Fergal Sheridan (1-1), Vinny Hourican, Cathal Reilly, Barry McKeon (0-4), Conor Hawkins, Shea McKeon, Cathal McCabe, Cormac Hughes. Subs: Mark Mulligan for Cormac Hughes,  Cormac Hughes for C onor Hawkins, Jack Harkin for Shea McKeon, Sean Mulligan, Ronan Williams. Thanks to the management team of Gavin Tonra, Colin Kiernan and JP Reilly and to Podgy Murtagh and Tommy Doyle and all who helped out with the team in any way.

Thanks to all who supported our fundraiser in Creegans in Bunlahy on Saturday night.
