Dolores Kiernan has stepped down as chairperson of the Longford Ladies GAA Board.

The Killoe woman departed the role last week and the Board's AGM failed to appoint a successor.

Joe Fox from Killoe has been elected to the position of vice-chairperson and could be promoted to the role of chairperson.

Another Killoe club member, Ann Marie McDermott, is the new PRO, while Carrickedmond's Ann Jones remains on as treasurer.

The secretary and assistant-secretary roles also remained unfilled after the AGM in Pearse Park last Tuesday.
