Seniors; Congratulations to the senior team on winning the Leader Cup semi final against Fr. Manning Gaels on Sunday last in Pairc ns nGael in what was an all round very good team effort. The final takes place on Saturday next at 7pm v Killoe in Monaduff. Please support.

Cian Smith Fun Day; Well done to all who were involved in organising the Cian Smith Fun Day on Sunday afternoon last in Pairc na nGael. The event was well attended and enjoyed by all. Congratulations to the Colmcille under 14 team who won the Cian Smith Memorial Cup.
Longford Senior Championship; Congratulations to Killoe on winning the 2014 Senior Championship on Sunday week last.
Arva GFC; Congratulations to our near neighbours Arva on winning the Cavan Junior Championship on Sunday week last. It was nice to see a good contingent of Dromard supporters there to cheer them on to victory and of course to join with them in their celebrations in town later that evening. The club would also like to extend our sympathy to Arva GFC and to the extended Morris family on the passing of Seamus Morris on 7th October last. Seamus was a well known and respected businessman in Arva for many years. He was also legendary in GAA circles having been a member of the last Cavan All Ireland Winning team in 1952 along with a string of other achievements with the Cavan County team.
Monthly meeting; The next monthly meeting has been provisionally set for Monday next 20th October after the weekly lotto draw at 9pm. Check text messages for confirmation
Sympathy; The club wish to extend our sympathy to the extended family of the late Brigid Maguire, Clonback who died recently. Condolences also to Longford County Board Secretary, Peter O'Reilly on the death of his mother Eileen O'Reilly recently.
