We would like to extend our sympathies to the family of Frankie Murphy following his untimely death at the weekend. Frankie was a great supporter of the club and didn't miss many games over the years. May he rest in peace.

Well done to our U14 team who represented the club in the annual Remember Cian celebrations in Pairc na Gael on Sunday last. Thanks to our neighbours Dromard for inviting us to participate in what was a great occasion in memory of Cian Smith, a young man who was highly regarded in both parishes.

Well done to our U21 team who defeated Ballymahon/Forgney in their second group game on Saturday evening.

Please come out and support our Minor team in the B Championship Final v Western Gaels on Saturday next in Pearse Park at 2:15pm.

There is an U8 Blitz in Newtownforbes on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.

The parish league resumes next sunday at 12pm in McGee Park. We hope to get the competition played off over the next three weeks following a couple of postponements in recent weeks.
