Mullinalaghta manager Gerry Lynn says he doesn't expect either team to deploy negative tactics for Sunday's Longford SFC final.
Lynn's charges will meet a Killoe side gunning for their second county title in three years at Pearse Park (throw-in 3.30pm) and anticipates and entertaining game.
"It's going to be an open game and I think it will be a close encounter," Lynn told the Longford Leader.
"We have never employed anything negative and Killoe are probably one of the most free-flowing teams in Longford at the moment."
While many neutrals are expecting a Killoe win at the weekend, Lynn is confident going into the decider and says he can have no complaints so long as his players perform.
"This is a whole new ball game for the Mullinalaghta lads," he said. "It's a big step for them but if we perform we will be happy regardless of the result.
"The worst thing for a team to say after a final is that 'we didn't perform'. That's the big thing and it's all you can ask for. That's what the whole parish wants' a good performance."
