Carrickedmond manager Eugene McCormack is experienced enough to know that they will have to work hard to win the intermediate football championship final on Sunday.

Despite be hot favourites to win the title, McCormack is playing down their chances and knows that one situation could turn the course of the game at any time.

Speaking to the Longford Leader he said: "No matter what game it is it is all about on the day; a bounce of a bal going your way or against you.

"It's small things like that. You have to make sure that you get everything right on the day."
