Dromard have been crowned the Division 1 Football league champions as the Leader Cup placings are now known.

A walkover from Granard St Mary's ensured that Dromard cannot be caught at the top of the table with one game to go (against Clonguish) this weekend.

Dromard are in the Leader Cup semi finals where they will be joined by either Longford Slashers, Killoe, Abbeylara, Fr Manning Gaels or Clonguish.

Of those sides mentioned, whoever doesn't make it will contest the quarterfinals of the competition.
