Longford official Fergal Kelly will do the county proud when he referees the 2014 All-Ireland MFC final.
The Ballymahon whistler has been oppointed to take charge of the curtain-raiser at Croke Park on Sunday week, which also involves the two teams that will do battle for Sam - Donegal and Kerry.
Fergal has been refereeing since 2005 and his status as one of the country's leading officials has been confirmed by this high-profile summoning
Kelly was in Limerick on Saturday week last, where he acted as linesman for the replayed All-Ireland SFC semi-final between Kerry and Mayo.
