Longford manager Jack Sheedy
Coming off the back of a tremendous victory over a fancied Derry side, Longford now face the arduous challenge of an away trip to Tipperary in Round 2A of the Qualifiers.

Manager Jack Sheedy is well aware of the threat Tipperary will pose after the Munster men almost claimed a shock win over Cork in their last outing.

"We are under no illusions that we have to perform to the best of our potential," he told the Longford Leader. "If we don't perform we have no chance, simple as that."

"They (Tipperary) always produce good performances in the qualifiers so it's a tough task for us to go down there and get a result. I don't think it's beyond us though."
