We love a Qualifier draw
The Round 2A and 2B Football Qualifier draw takes place on Monday morning on RTE Radio 1 Morning Ireland after the 8.30am news.

Into the draw go the eight beaten provincial semi-finalists and the eight Round 1A and 1B winners.

Round 2A comprises eight teams: one bowl with the four Round 1A winners - Laois, Longford, Wicklow and Limerick and a second bowl with the designated A side beaten provincial semi-finalists - Dublin or Wexford, Antrim, Tipperary and Sligo. These game will take place on Saturday 5 July.

Similarly Round 2B comprises eight teams: one bowl with the four Round 1B winners - Tyrone or Louth, Down or Leitrim, Cavan or Westmeath and Waterford or Carlow and a second bowl with the designated A side beaten provincial semi-finalists - Meath or Kildare, Monaghan or Armagh, Clare and Roscommon. These games will take palce on Saturday 12 July.

Teams that have met before CAN meet again.

To determine home advantage the procedure is that a team from each bowl is placed unopened in a middle bowl; first team drawn from this has home venue unless the two side already met this year. In that case home advantage will go to the team who were away in the earlier meeting.
