HL3A: Four see red as Rossies book final ticket

Four players were sent off in Athleague as Roscommon booked their HL3A final ticket with a 16 point victory over neighbours Longford.

Roscommon's Gerry Fallon and Cormac Kelly were both shown red cards along with Longford's full-forward Thomas Stakelum.

The winners' half-back Cathal Dolan was also issued with his marching orders by referee Anthony Carroll after picking up a second yellow card.

Goals from Adrian Murphy, Micheal Kelly and substitute David Dolan propelled the hosts - who led by 2-6 to 0-5 at the halfway stage - to victory.

Their reward is a final against Donegal on Saturday, April 5.
