It promises to be a gala night for the Longford GAA Stars Banquet in The Arms Hotel on Saturday December 13.
The 2008 Longford Team of the Championship will be honoured, with as many as eight Colmcilles men on board.
Declan O'Reilly, Mark Smith and Paul O'Hara are up for the senior player of the year gong. Players of the year will also be selected in the intermediate, junior, hurling and ladies football sections.
Special guests on the night will include Galway hurlers Joe and Ollie Canning as well as Westmeath footballer John Keane.
