Senior Championship Victory: Our Senior team had a deserved victory in the first round of the Senior Championship against Clonguish in Monaduff on Friday night last on a scoreline of Emmet Og 0-14 Clonguish 0-9. After 10 minutes of play we led by 0-3 to 0-1. By half-time the score read Emmet Og 0-7 to 0-4 to Clonguish. We were full value for our 3 point lead. With 10 minutes gone in the second half both teams 3 points each to leave the score 0-10 to 0-7. Entering the final 10 minutes of the game we had extended our lead to 5 points and were well in control. In the end our lads held firm to see out the game on a scoreline of Emmet Og 0-14 Clonguish 0-9. We have a bye in the next round with our last game against Mostrim in 2 weeks time.
