Corofin GAA in Clare will take on their biggest challenge yet as 50 members prepare to climb Mount Everest by covering the 9000m distance of the world's highest mountain on Mullaghmore while soloing a football or hurley and sliotar to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis.
Corofin Climb Everest - "The Solo Run Challenge" will take place on Mullaghmore in the heart of the Burren on Saturday June 6th.
All monies raised will go to Tipperary Limerick Clare For Cystic Fibrosis (TLC4CF), an affiliated regional branch of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
