U20 Championship: Commiserations to the Longford U20 footballers on their defeat to Dublin in the Leinster championship. The Longford team put in a hugely committed performance against a very strong Dublin side with only a score between the teams for most of the game. Hard luck to the panel and management team and to Dromard’s four representatives Joseph Hagan, Aaron Farrell, Conor McGauran and Ollie Duffy along with Danny O’Toole in the backroom team.

National Football League: Best of luck to the Longford senior panel and management team in Round 4 of the league against Down in Newry on Saturday evening. Throw in at Páirc Esler is at 7pm.

Senior Citizens Party: Dromard senior citizens committee in association with Dromard community games would like to thank all those who supported our annual senior citizens party. Dromard Healthy Clubs: Circuit training for all levels is underway for 2020. Classes take place on Saturday mornings at 8.30 and are a great way to start getting fit again.
