Monthly Members Draw: Congratulations to the winners of our Monthly Members Draw for January. Clash of the Townlands Table Quiz: Thank you to everyone who attended our fourth annual “Clash of the Townlands” table quiz on Friday evening, despite the inclement weather. A special word of thanks to the main organiser Peter Mimnagh and to all those who helped out on the night, especially MC Peter Masterson. Thanks to Philomena and Eamonn Gray of the Breffni Arms Hotel for the use of their premises. 

National Football League: Congratulations to the Longford senior footballers and management team on maintaining their excellent start to the league with a fine win over Leitrim on Sunday. Well done to Joseph Hagan who played his part in the second half and to Danny O’Toole and the rest of the backroom team. 

Longford GAA Gaeltacht Scholarship: The form for Gaeltacht Scholarships is available to download from the Longford GAA website. Closing date for applications is Thursday, 15 April 2020. Completed applications can be emailed to [email protected] or left into the Office in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

Luby Family Benefit Fundraisers: A Benefit Dance for the family of the late Mick Luby (formerly of Moyne) is being held in Clarkes Hotel, Mohill on Saturday 29 February 2020 at 9 pm. Dromard Healthy Clubs: Circuit training for all levels is underway for 2020. Classes take place on Saturday mornings at 8.30 and are a great way to start getting fit again.
