Christmas Draw 2019

Tickets are currently in distribution for our annual Christmas Draw which takes place on Sunday December 22 in Ardagh Hall at 9pm. We have a number of excellent prizes on offer including a top prize of €300 which will undoubtedly be a wonderful bonus for the lucky winner with the festive season fast approaching. Tickets can be purchased from all club players and officials. We greatly appreciate the continued support of all our members and while we appreciate that the Christmas period can place a lot of financial burden on people all support for the draw in any shape or form is appreciated.

Charity Road Hurling 2019:

Pencil in Friday December 27 for our annual road hurling event which once again takes place in our traditional route around Ardagh. Beginning at the church car park participants will make their way down towards Skehanagh bridge, where many teams aspirations have gone by the wayside over the years. From here the circuit turns up towards Cahermoyle house before a left hand turn back towards the finishing straight into Ardagh. The event has gone from strength to strength since its inception and has become one of the most eagerly anticipated days in our GAA calendar and an excellent opportunity for our talented youngsters to showcase their talents. This year’s chosen charities are Milford Hospice Home Care and the Daffodil Nurses two excellent organisation who provide a wonderful service. We look forward to seeing you all on December 27.

Church Gate Collection:

St. Kieran’s GAA Club Annual church gate collection takes place this coming weekend in both Coolcappagh and Kilcolman churches, please check the local bulletin/parish notes for mass times. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Hurling for All:

Once again our hurling for all program continues this Friday evening at 8.30pm in Ardagh Astroturf. Numbers have been excellent over the past number of weeks and it was provided many of our younger players (and not so young) players an excellent opportunity to fine tune their skills during the winter months ahead of the 2020 season. All are welcome all you need is a hurley, helmet and of course €3 to cover the cost of the pitch.
