Sympathy: Dromard GAA extends its sympathy to the Jobe family, Rathmore, on the death of Shane Jobe. The Club sends its condolences to the Smith family on the passing of Ann Smith (née Kienan), Mullaghboy, Ballinagh, Cavan. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anamnacha. 

Minor Champions: Congratulations to the Dromard minor ladies panel on winning the minor B championship final in Newtowncashel on Sunday. Well done to all the players and their manager and current senior player David Petit and backroom team of Ali McGauran, Danny O’Toole and Deirdre McLoughlin. 

Monthly Members Draw: A reminder that members can renew their subscriptions for the 2019/20 year by logging on to https://clubforce.com/dromardmonthlydraw. The first draw is coming up shortly so please renew your subscription to make sure you’re included. The process is simple and takes less than two minutes. You can also sign up by filling out a registration form which is available in the Clubhouse or from any member of the Club executive. The funds raised from the draw go directly to meeting the running costs of the Club and to the upkeep of the facilities at Páirc na nGael. One year’s membership costs €100. A guaranteed €800 will be given away in each monthly draw. In addition, subscribers will receive 2020 Membership of Dromard GAA Club, access to the weekly Club Newsletter and entry into the draw for All Ireland Hurling and Football Final tickets. Thank you to all those who have already signed up for the 2019/20 season. We hope that those who have yet to do so will consider signing up for next year. 

Dromard Area Community  Games: Registration night for children aged 6-16 will take place on Monday night December 2 from 6.40pm-7.15pm at the Clubhouse Pairc na nGael. All children must be registered to be eligible to participate in community games activities which will commence shortly. Dromard Healthy Club: As part of our new Autumn Fitness and Wellness schedule, a circuits class with Paul Mulligan continues on Saturday mornings from 8.30am in the Clubhouse. This is an excellent class suitable for any fitness level. New spinning classes have also commenced on Tuesdays with Edel Murray Fitness from 7pm-7.45pm and from 8pm to 8.45pm. “Yoga for Everyone” with Marta Pasieczny continues on Monday evenings at 8pm in the Dromard GAA Clubhouse. Cost is 1 class for €12 or 5 classes for €50.
