All Ireland Qualifiers: Commiserations to the Longford Senior Footballers on their defeat to Tyrone on Saturday. Despite the setback of conceding two early goals, the team played with customary spirit, kicked some great scores and battled to the finish. A word of thanks to Dromard’s representatives on the panel, Joseph Hagan and Ronan McEntire, for their commitment to the county team and for representing their club with distinction all year. Special congratulations are due to Joseph Hagan on an impressive debut season with Longford. Joseph started the game against Tyrone and played extremely well and was very effective in several other games, particularly against Carlow in the league when he was instrumental in securing a vital Longford victory. Dromard is also represented on the Longford backroom team with dedicated clubman Danny O’Toole ever present on the sideline assisting the players. Thanks to Danny and the rest of the management team, Padraic Davis, Paul Barden, Donal Ledwith and John Donnellan for their hard work all year.

Ulster Final: Hard luck to Cavan on their defeat to Donegal in the Ulster Final. Good luck in the back door qualifier.
