Former Cavan forward Finbar O’Reilly is set to become Mullinalaghta’s next manager after the Longford champions' All-Ireland club SFC campaign concludes.

Having taken over three years ago, Mickey Graham steered the popular midland team to a historic Leinster championship success last month and recently marked his first game as Cavan manager with a win over Down in the opening round of Dr McKenna Cup.

Graham is presently combining roles between club and county as Mullinalaghta gear up for their All-Ireland semi-final date with Dr Crokes of Kerry on February 16th and once the new season commences in Longford it will be his fellow Breffni man O’Reilly whom will be at the helm.

A highly regarded coach, O’Reilly has been involved with a handful of clubs in Cavan, including his native Lacken, and managed St Patrick’s College to numerous Ulster titles through the different ranks.
