Both Mullinalaghta and Rathcline are in Leinster club action over the weekend.

Having received a bye in the opening round, both clubs are now out this weekend with Mullinalaghta taking on Offaly champions Rhode and Rathcline face Wexford champions Horeswood in the Leinster club IFC.

Mullinaglaghta will be looking to make their mark on the provincial campaign having just won their third consecutive county title, but they face a tough test against a Rhode side who will feel they can win the provincial title.

Rathcline are in action on Saturday afternoon when they make the trip to New Ross where they face a Horeswood side that includes former Wexford footballer PJ Banville.

Both Longford teams will go into their respective games as underdogs, but they will not be daunted by the task that they face either.
