Dromard Ladies Club Notes

Minor Championship: Hard luck to our minor team who were defeated by Ballymore at home on Sunday last, Dromard 2-3 Ballymore 5-10. All the girls put in a big effort at the game, but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. We hope to see the full panel out at training on Tuesday evening in preparation of our next match on Sunday 30th of September. All the support was greatly appreciated by the team and we hope to have more supporters out at the next game.

Clothes Collection: Speaking of support, we would like to say a big thank you to everybody who donated clothes etc. for our Annual Clothes Collection, last week. The people of the parish were very generous and supportive and we are very grateful for all the help. Special thanks to Geraldine Bleakley and Gloria Kavanagh for organising the clothes collection.

Birthday: Best wishes to Niamh Corrigan who will be turning 12 on Monday. She's a pleasure to train and we hope to see her back on the pitch next year.

Under-10s: Well done to all the under-10 girls who participated in the last U10 blitz of the year which took place in Drumlish on Saturday last. Many thanks to all the parents/relatives that have provided support and lifts for the girls throughout the year. They literally couldn't have done it without you. Under-10 panel: Caoimhe Shannon, Róisín Bohan, Lauren Maguire, Ruth Cosgrove, Beibhinn Courtney, Éaibhín Courtney, Sarah Buchanan, Grace Tierney, Grace Duffy and Natalie MacEntire. We hope to see you all out again in the New Year.
