Emmet Og club notes

September 24, 2018

Our junior team captured the junior championship with a hard fought win over Clonguish in Pearse Park on Sunday. A goal from the ever dependable Andrew Thompson mid way through the second half proved to be the difference with our lads holding out for a tight 1-8 to 7 points win. We had fine performances through out the team on the day with everyone giving it their all. Well done to manager Kevin Dooner, selectors Mark Mimnagh, Kevin Mollaghan and John Reilly as well as all involved with the team.

Well done to our minor team who had a great win in the championship semi final at the weekend. Good luck in the final.

Hard luck to our ladies team who were defeated in the championship final on Saturday last.
