Emmet Og club notes

July 16, 2018

Congratulations to our county under 17 team who had a very impressive win over Dublin in the Leinster shield final on Saturday. The team was back boned by Killoe lads with Gerry Carberry managing the team and Jason Tully acting as selector. On the team we had Cian Dooner, Reece Leonard, Jonathon Borland, James Moran, Euan Finneran, Darren Moffat and Shane Igoe. Well done to all involved.

Our senior team had a fine win over Clonguish in the league at the weekend. Well done to all involved. Following the game we presented our popular lotto winner Aita Bratten with her check for 13,300 following her well deserved lotto win last Sunday night. Congratulations again to Anita, Billy and family.

Our lotto draw took place in Begleys on Sunday night for a jackpot of E2000. There was no jackpot winner. E20 winners were Kathy Gregg, Sinead and Ciara Mckeown, Soran, Paddy Keogh, Ohill, Donna Rowley Murphy, C/O Gerry Rowley and M Donlon, Newtownforbes. This weeks sellers prize went to Brian Finneran. Well done to all our winners and thanks again to all who continue to support our lotto.

Finally this week we send our heartiest congratulations to former player Paul Devaney and his beautiful wife Rima who got married at the weekend. Paul has been instrumental in recent years in redeveloping our award winning website and despite being based in London,  is always working away in the backround in updating and improving our online presence. Congratulations Paul and Rima and we wish you both many many happy years together.
