Dromard Ladies Club Notes

Fixtures: This week was a quiet week with no fixtures for any of our teams. Our u14 girls had a bye in their competition last week but they resumed action on Tuesday this week (not played at time of going to press) with an away fixture to Carrickedmond. The u12 girls also resumed action on Monday this week as their summer league kicked off with a home game against Grattans and next Monday 18th June they will be away to Rathcline in the same competition. The senior team had no fixture as we await the senior championship to start at the end of the month.

County: We wish the county team and management the very best of luck as they take on Wicklow this Sunday 17th June in the Intermediate Leinster semi-final. A special shout out to the Dromard girls on the panel; Mairead Reynolds, Sarah Reynolds, Cáit Murphy and Michelle Kilkenny.

Bon Voyage: We also wish our regular correspondent Bernie and his wife Betty safe travels on their latest adventure.

Leinster Championship: Hard luck to Longford senior men's team who lost out last Sunday against an impressive Dublin squad at Croke Park.

Birthdays:  Cathy Conefrey and Ciara Maguire turn 15 this week and one of our newest additions to the u10 panel, Aoife Corrigan, who will turn 7.
