Our senior and junior reserve teams were in action at the weekend. Our senior reserves had a fine win at home to Carrickedmond on Saturday evening while our juniors took the points away from the Laurels on Sunday. Well done to both.

This coming weekend our senior reserves are at home to Colmcille in the Berrie Allen cup on Saturday.

Best wishes to senior star Denis McGoldrick and his beautiful bride Grainne Brennan who get married this weekend. A great occasion for the McGoldrick family.

Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night in Begleys and the numbers drawn were 2, 4 6 and 18. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Shane Thompson, Esker Raymond Murphy, Cullyfad, Florence Connell, Clonee, The Reynolds family, Farragh and Patsy Duke, Longford.  This weeks sellers prize went to Tom McManus. Next week sees the jackpot rise to €12,500 with the draw in The Olde Forge on Sunday night and Gerry Rowleys team on duty. Thanks again to all who support our lotto.
