Emmet Og club notes

April 11, 2018

Our seniors were in league action on Saturday evening last and after an evenly contested affair against Dromard we emerged with a share of the spoils. Final score Killoe 1-8, Dromard 11 points well done to all involved. Unfortunately our junior game against Slashers fell foul of the weather and will be rescheduled.

This coming weekend we have two very tricky fixtures with our seniors away to Slashers on Saturday evening and our juniors away to Drumlish on Sunday. Good luck to both.

Unfortunately our car parks will be closed for the next two weeks due to upgrading works. No doubt the reward will be well worth the short term pain.

Our lotto draw for a jackpot of €12,000 took place in Begleys on Sunday night and the numbers drawn were 3, 9, 13 and 15. Unfortunately there as no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Barry Gilleran, Longford, Patsy Fox, Esker, Sean McKenna, Knockloughlin, Robbie Browne and Patrick Donnelly, Moatfarrell. This weeks sellers prize went to Eugene Caherly. Well done to all the winners and thanks to all who supported this weeks draw. Next week sees the jackpot rise to €12,100 with the draw in the Olde Forge on Sunday night.

Finally this week we offer our deepest condolences to the Flynn family, Soran on their bereavement during the week.
