Longford look set to be without key forward Sean McCormack once again for this weekend's clash against Wexford.

McCormack missed out on the narrow defeat to Armagh last Sunday week and it doesn't look as if he will be fit enough to return for the crucial clash against the Model County.

A quad injury has forced McCormack to watch from the sidelines in the last few weeks as his team mates continue their push to be in the hunt for promotion.

Longford will be favourites to see off the challenge of a Wexford side that has struggled in the league so far, but they have troubled the Midlanders in their recent meetings.

Denis Connerton's charges have three of their remaining four games at home starting with Sunday's clash and they will be hoping to pick up their third win out of four matches.
