Longford got their hands on the Kehoe Cup for the first time in their history following a minimum margin victory over Wicklow at Glennon Bros Pearse Park today.
Played in difficult conditions, the Midlanders took the spoils on a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-10.
The Seamus Murphy managed Garden County enjoyed an 0-8 to 0-5 cushion at the midway point but they were outscored by six points to two after the resumption.
Their cause wasn't helped by James Cranley's sending-off while Eoin McCormack had a goal disallowed five minutes from time.
