In the small ball code, Oranmore-Maree from Galway and St Galls of Antrim do battle for the right to face Charleville in the All-Ireland Club IHC final, while teams from Leitrim, Monaghan, Cork and Kilkenny are in the junior semi-finals.

In football, the All-Ireland junior and intermediate semi-finals provide once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to clubs from Galway, Antrim, Kildare, Kerry, Sligo, Donegal and Louth.

For the teams involved and their supporters, today's club matches are way more important. No fewer than seven All-Ireland semi-finals go down for decision, with precious places in the respective finals at Croke Park up for grabs.

Connacht SFL

The day's only senior intercounty match sees Galway and Roscommon lock horns at Tuam (1:30) to see who claims Connacht's pre-season competition. Both teams will be going for a win as they complete their preparations for Division One of the league.
