We had a resounding win over the East Limerick side at a very wet Culhane park last Friday night we led from start to finish with the goals coming from Kevin Moore and Ger Lyons, going in at the break Pallas were reduced to 14 for an off the ball infringement.We struggled somewhat in the second half to find our feet but we killed off the game with another Lyons goal and great points from Padraig Scanlon.That concluded our county league campaign,where we finished just behind Claghaun in second place.With two high scoring wins versus two intermediate teams on the verge of qualifying for the quarter finals (Pallas and Mungret) we are finding a bit of momentum at the right time as we play Claghaun in a must win game Friday week,also a big thank you to all at Dunnes bar for the food and refreshment after the match that was laid on for both teams.TEAM:J DOWNEY M MOORE B DONOVAN S HORAN J MARTIN P COSTELLO R CULHANE E HORAN P HORAN P SHEAHAN P SCANLON K SWEENEY P FITZ G LYONS K MOORE (SUBS ALL USED ) S LYONS D O SULLIVAN JAMIE FITZ B FLANAGAN
