The scoreline does the not reflect the game Adare got two penalties in both halves of the game and they were both scored by Stephen Keeley and the other goal scores on the night were: Mark Connolly (Adare) and Paul Madigan (Dromcollogher/ Broadford), after three games the table read as follows, Monaleen six points, Dromcollogher/ Broadford five points, Fr. Casey's three points, Rathkeale a point, Na Pairsaigh no points and our next game in the Championship is against Fr. Casey's on Week-ending August 6th.

 

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first four points of the game with two of these coming from Micheál Brosnan and the other points coming from Kevin Noonan and Derry McCarthy and then Liam Costello replied with a point for Adare to leave three points between the sides.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points and these points came from Derry McCarthy and Micheál Brosnan to leave five points between the sides and then Adare scored the next two goals of the game to take the lead by a point for the first time during the game with the first coming from Mark Connolly and the other coming from Stephen Keeley from a penalty. Kevin Noonan scored the game next point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game and then Robbie Lynch of Adare scored the last point of the half to give them back the lead going into the break.  To leave the score at half-time Adare 2-2 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-7.

 

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first three points of the second half to take lead once again with two of these coming Kevin Noonan and the other point coming from Micheál Brosnan and then point came from Jack English of Adare to leave a point between the sides.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-4 without reply from Adare to lead by eight points with the goal coming from Paul Madigan and the points came from Derry McCarthy and Micheál Brosnan scored two points each and then Mikey Lyons scored the next point for Adare to leave seven points between the sides.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points and these points came from Derry McCarthy and Kevin Noonan to lead by nine points and then Adare scored the 1-1 of the game with both scores from Stephen Keely to leave five points between the sides.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last two points of the game to win by seven points and these points came from Kevin Noonan and Seanie Buckley.  To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-18 to Adare 3-05.

This was a very tight game played down in Dromcollogher, with sun hitting the rocks, with the Dromcollogher/ Broadford goals in the first half both coming from Damien Lacey and the goal in the second half coming from Derry McCarthy from penalty, so far in the league we drew with Kilmallock 1-11 apiece, won against on a scoreline 0-15 to 0-12, lost to Feenagh/ Kilmeedy on a scoreline of 3-15 to 0-14 and defeated Monagea on a scoreline of 3-13 to 2-12 and we have Newcastle West, Staker Wallace and Kildimo left to play in the last three rounds.

 

Drom/ Broadford scored the first 1-1 of the game with the goal coming from Damien Lacey and the point coming from Derry McCarthy from a pointed free and then Monagea scored their first point of the game to leave a goal between the sides.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-2 with 1-1 coming from Damien Lacey and the other point coming from Declan Stack to leave eight points between the sides and then Monagea scored the next point to leave seven points between the sides.  Derry McCarthy scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave eight points between the sides once again and then Monagea scored the next four points without replay from Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave four points between the sides.  Denis Donegan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave five points between the sides and then Monagea scored another point to leave for points between the sides once again.  Declan Stack scored another point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave five points between the sides at the break.  To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-6 to Monagea 0-7.

Derry McCarthy scored the next two pointed frees for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave seven points between the sides and then Monagea scored the next 1-1 of the game to leave two points between the sides.  Derry McCarthy scored another point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave three points between the sides and then Monagea scored another point to cut down the margin to two points once again.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-1 with goal coming from penalty and the point from a free to leave six points between the sides and the Monagea scored the next point to leave five points between the sides.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points with two of these coming from Derry McCarthy both placed balls and the other point coming from Damien Lacey to leave six points between the sides and then Monagea scored the last two points of the game to leave four points between the sides.  To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 3-13 to Monagea 2-12

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

 

Results of the 252nd draw took place on Monday June 19th, in Begley's Bar, Broadford and the numbers drawn were: 11, 28, 30 and 31 there was no winner of the jackpot of €9,300 and there was also was one winner of match three at €100 and that was Dylan Daly. Sydney, Australia and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Fr O'Dea, Dromcollogher, and Ciss Collins, Broadford, and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday night June 26th, in The Corner House, Dromcollogher, at 10.15pm sharp, the jackpot going up to €9,400 (Win or share) and the match three staying at €100 (win or share).  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.

Membership

 

Players membership/Insurance is overdue for this season.  We are asking all players to make payment of €50 students €30 before next championship game and can be paid to the following Team captains Jason Stokes and Paul Madigan and Chairman Denis O Carroll and Jim Barry Secretary.  Please note that all players must have membership paid before next championship game. Club membership for non-players is also due for payment at a cost of €30.  Your cooperation will be very much appreciated.

 

Non-Stop Draw

 

The above Club are commencing their 3 months Non-Stop Draw with draws being held during June, July and August, with prize money of €1000 per draw and the cost of entry to the draw is €20 per draw or €50 for all three draws.  To this end promoters will be calling to all homes in the parish over the next couple of weeks to ask for your support and the Club would ask householders to be as generous as possible.  Many thanks to all who give so generously on an ongoing basis.
