Senior Football Championship

St Patricks 1 7 St Kierans 2 9

A  hugely dissapointing night in Clarina for the senior footballers on Friday last. On a night where the team greatly underperformed, despite the good preparations for this game, it just did not happen on the night.
Two games remain  in August against Ballylanders and Oola, winning both will see the team qualify again for the knockout stages so all is not lost and this team has plenty of character, but will know hard work lies ahead.

U14 Football

Our U14s travelled to Oola and were well beaten in the end by the home team. Missing up to eight players of the age due to Kennedy Cup and other  commitments and no change forthcoming, we fielded a very  young team who can be  extremely proud of the display given for the jersey.

Up against a more physical Oola side  they worked tirelessly  and showed great skill and bravery throughout .

Our u14 team have 2 wins from 3 after tonight and take on Galbally next Monday and will look to return to winning ways.

Niall Crosse Memorial Cup

Well Done to all Players who hurled in our annual street  league on Saturday in splendid sunshine.A day these young lads will always remember. Great skills on show and both the shield final and the cup final were closely fought ,entertaining games.
Jack Sheehan presented all those who took part medals on the day.

Junior Hurling Championship Begins

The Junior Hurlers begin their 2017 Championship this coming Saturday against Ballybrown. A hugely promising season last year where the team narrowly lost out in the County Final and the management and panel will work hard again to first navigate a tough city championship.
Ballybrown were winners in a recent city league game so this is a good test to start. Please support the team on the night.
