Galbally GAA Notes

February 21, 2017

Club Limerick Draw: In 2016 we enjoyed a very successful year securing 2 first prize winners - €10,000 each.  Katleen & Orla Hickey in May, while Ruth and Aoife Kiely won 1st prize in June. We also had winners in Bill Cussen, €500, Galbally GAA club and Keiran O Connell who won €250 each. In total over the past 9 years, €79,700 was won by Galbally members of Club Limerick Draw as well as weekends away and All Ireland tickets, a great achievement for a small club. We appeal for your continued support of the draw in 2017, 10 draws at €10 euro per draw or €100 euro for the year. In supporting this draw you are supporting Galbally GAA club. Contact any Club member for application forms.

Congratulations to John the Baptist School on their Munster final success last Saturday in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick. The were far too strong for a good Ennis side. It was great to see so many Galbally/Garryspillane players involved in the team and all involved in the club wishes them the best in the up coming All Ireland competition.

There is a club meeting taking place in the GAA center Thursday 23rd at 8.30pm, all members and players are asked to attend. This is an important meeting regarding fundraising efforts for the club for 2017, please make an effort to be there.
