Minor County Football Semi Final

Fr. Casey's Minor Footballers take on Rathkeale this coming Saturday in the County Semi Final in Newcastle West at 2pm. Fr. Caseys will be looking to make it a hattrick of county final appearances but in Rathkeale they come up against a team that are in great form having recorded some high scoring victories in their recent league games. Both Fr. Caseys and Rathkeale finished in joint second behind Monaleen in the league stages with 10 points from a maximum of 14. When both teams meet last July in Abbeyfeale, Fr. Caseys emerged victors with 1 point to spare after a hard fought encounter. Should the result be the same next Saturday we will be more than happy. The team has put in a massive effort all year under the guidance of Gerard O'Connor, JD Foley, Gerard Moloney and Liam McNally. Hopefully next Saturday all that hard work comes to fruition and the dream of an 11th Minor Title remains intact. We would love to see a large crowd present to cheer on the team in this important game. Best of luck to all involved.

 

Spin & Win Draw

The following are the results from last Sunday nights Spin and Win Draw which was held in the GAA Clubhouse. Congratulations to all our winners and many thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket.

The next Spin and Win Draw will be held on Sunday October 2nd in the GAA Clubhouse at 9.30pm. With the jackpot not won last weekend, the prize fund increases to €6,700 for the coming draw. The three players spinning the wheel next weekend are as follows:
